Once you’ve purchased your Klira Special and completed your SkinSize™ test, your results are reviewed by our Dermatology Team, who will send you their full clinical notes, confirm your bespoke formulation and explain how it will evolve over time.

The Klira Special prescribed by the Dermatology Team will do all the heavy lifting of your skincare routine and replace all other serums or treatments that you may have been using.  

We will also provide you with suggested products for your supporting routine (cleanser, moisturiser & SPF) a curated selection of dermatologist-approved products to use alongside your Klira Special, ensuring a supremely simple and effective routine.

SkinSizes™ are advanced skin typing based on the DNA code that influences how our skin looks, feels and ages. They represent Dr Emma Craythorne’s definitive dermatologically relevant breakdown of skin types, identified by analysing to what extent an individual presents with positive or negative function in four crucial areas: sebum, barrier, melanin and collagen.

Once we know how your skin works at a cellular level, we know your SkinSize™. It tells us not only which ingredients, at which level and in which base will create the most effective prescription for your Klira Special but allows us to curate your ideal supporting routine from a selection of the most rigorously researched and well-evidenced brands.

Your Dermatology Team prescribed Klira Special formula contains real medical ingredients that have the power to change your skin. They are made to be used in accordance with these instructions: 

1. 2 pumps in the evening, no more and no less. The application pump delivers exactly the correct dose of medical actives to your skin. 
2. Use broad spectrum SPF 50 every single day. UVA comes through windows and clouds, and you must protect your skin, which will be more sensitive to UV as a result of treatment.
3. Be consistent. These ingredients create changes in your skin at a cellular level, which are lost if regular application is not maintained. 
4. Remove other actives. For the first 3 months simplify your routine, avoid exfoliation, all other actives and ‘enhanced’ formulas. For best results follow your suggested Klira routine. 
5. Store The Klira Special at room temperature and out of reach of children.
